Michael Chell Obituary
Lakeside Park, KY - Michael "Mike" Anthony Chell, 61 of Belleville, Illinois formerly of Lakeside Park, KY passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020. He was born on September 7, 1958, to the late Vincent and Elieen Chell. Mike was an economic developer for Ameren Services Company; where he was successful due to his expertise in strategic planning, site location, incentive negotiation, workforce development and his great work ethic. He attained his Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) certification in 1992. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fairview Heights, IL and the Knights of Columbus. Mike loved to watch sports; he was a graduate of Dixie Heights High School and Murray State University. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James Chell. Mike is survived by his cherished daughter, Olivia Chell; brothers, Tom Chell and Robert Chell, as well as many other relatives and friends. A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, July 11,2020 from 9am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2409 Dixie Hwy, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017. Internment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Ky. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Hydrocephalus Association Attn: Greater Cincinnati Walk; 4340 East West Highway Suite 905 Bethesda, MD 20814-4447. I am so sorry for the loss of my dear friend, Michael. I just found out about his passing and am heartbroken that I didn't know about his memorial service. Michael and I were friends since high school and, for a short time, related by marriage. He was always kind, full of love and joy, and never failed to make me smile. He will be missed.
