Guess whose face popped up in my email today and gave me the biggest smile! We miss you every Philmont season and often laugh amongst ourselves at "remember that time Mike said this and remember that time Mike did that?" Yep, you were a very special guy and mentor to the Blue Sky Adventure family. Your legacy lives on. Miss you, my friend!

Mike Parduezey (as he is saved in my contact list) not only helped me grow in my position at work but also as a young lady. I once asked him what the success was to his marriage and he said "Phyllis is always right, no matter what, she is always right." I thought that was the best advice he could have ever realized and taken ownership of. He gave me important advice about loving my mother, no matter how hard it was, and he was there at my mothers funeral and I couldn't have thanked him more for his words before she died. I will miss arguing with him about the Dolphins and the Patriots and when he would call me Mrs. Tom Brady. He was a wonderful man and I am so blessed to have known him.

We at the Marriott Pyramid Hotel in Albquerque feel like we have lost our Best Friend. Mike entrusted his Boy Scouts to us year after year and part of the success was due to his passion for the boys and his desire to make their time in New Mexico one of their greates memories. He saw to it that every staff member felt important and a part of the success and he rightly earned their respect and ultimately their admiration and love. We called him our "NUMBER ONE CLIENT!" We cannot express how much he will be missed, but we will carry on his high expectations! God Bless the Pardue Family

My heartfelt condolences to Phyllis and all the family. We will think of Mike on every Blue Sky Adventures tour. We'll miss things to numerous to name, but most notable are his smile and laugh at the breakfasts while trying to get us on our way. I remember Mike saying "if you don't change things then you are not moving ahead." Mike, I know you are a man of faith and I truly believe you are now whole and happy a change that we wanted for you although we feel pain and shed many tears because you are no longer with us. Your legacy will live on through the generations long after all of us old tour guides are gone. Vaya con dios mi amigo, until we meet again.

To the Pardue family Mike will always hold a special spot in my heart as well as the rest of you. I am so sorry for you loss and if you need anything please let me know. Casey sent me a text today because Shay called him to tell him none of us knew this had happened. The boys will always love Mike and appreciate everything he did for them and what he taught them. In his final letter to the Scouts, Baden-Powell wrote:
... I have had a most happy life and I want each one of you to have a happy life too. I believe that God put us in this jolly world to be happy and enjoy life. Be contented with what you have got and make the best of it. Look on the bright side of things instead of the gloomy one. But the real way to get happiness is by giving out happiness to other people. Try and leave this world a little better than you found it and when your turn comes to die, you can die happy in feeling that at any rate you have not wasted your time but have done your best. 'Be Prepared' in this way, to live happy and to die happy —
You will always be our Baden-Powell.

Oh, Mike! You made me laugh so hard! You made my work and my life so easy. You really listened when I felt poorly. But you fumbled the ball when a gal got teary. I will miss your face... Love you always, my friend.

As a younger engineer, I always looked up and respected Mike as a strong leader and a person of good integrity and character. He was always kind to me and I appreciated working with him at Sensormatic.
