FUEHNER
Robert "Bob" G. Fuehner, 82, of Florence, died Wednesday April 3rd, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. He was a printer for over 40 years and a Knight of St. John. He was preceded in death by parents, George and May Fuehner, and his sister, Lorraine Fuehner. He is survived by his wife, Mildred "Millie" Fuehner of Florence; his daughter, Theresa (William) Brummer of Dry Ridge, KY; and his son, Mark (Imogene) Fuehner of Villa Hills, KY. He also leaves behind grandchildren, Nicholas Brummer, Michael Brummer, Maria Brummer, Thomas Brummer, Brian Fuehner, and Robert Fuehner. Visitation will be on Saturday April 6th, from 9 AM-10 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft. Mitchell. A memorial mass will take place at 10 AM at the church. He is being cremated. Memorials are suggested to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 8050 Hosbrook Rd., #314, Cincinnati, OH 45236 or The American Heart Association, 5211 Madison Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45227. In 1958, a week out of high school, I landed my first job in printing. It was at Mt. Airy Printing on the corner of Walnut and Mercer in the Over-the-Rhine area of downtown Cincinnati. Now, 55 years later, I still remember working with Bob. Although I was only there 2 years, your husband/father/grandfather obviously made an impression on this "young kid" just starting out in the business. When I saw Bob's picture, I remember (back) after all these years, how helpful he was
, sharing his knowledge and experience, with a kid just starting out in his career. I thought you my like to here from someone who knew Bob, many years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Tom Kelly, Shepherdsville KY. (I grew up in the Price Hill area, and graduated from Elder in 1958).
