Rose Mary Grefer

Covington - Rose Grefer, 89, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 8, 2020 with her children by her side at home. Rose was born in Covington, Kentucky. Rose was the loving wife of 55 years to the late Ralph H. Grefer. Rose was the devoted mother of eight children. Rose was a friend to all who met her. She loved life and live each day to its fullest. Rose and Ralph loved to vacation in Aruba. Rose is predeceased by her parents, Alma and Robert Clark as well as her brothers, Bill, Robert and Jack. She is survived by her eight children, Gary Grefer (Teri), Betty Welch (Tim), Kathy Kirkland (Allan), Thomas Grefer, Diane Hirsch (Tom), Joseph Grefer, Susan Bush, Charles Grefer. Rose delighted in her eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to join Rose's family at Fergerson Funeral Home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse, NY from 4 to 7 pm on Monday. A Mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday at 10 am at the Sacred Heart Church of Cicero, 8229 Brewerton Road, Cicero, NY. Visitation Thursday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Middendorf Funeral Home in Ft. Wright, KY. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fort Wright, KY. Donations may be made in Rose's memory to a charity of one's choice.
