Thomas Turner Obituary
Thomas Ward Turner, age 58, died peacefully at home July 2, 2016 from complication of Multiple System Atrophy. Tom was born in Peekskill, New York in 1958 to Margaret and Kenneth Turner. He will be missed by his devoted wife Tina, daughter Mary, Sons John and Michael, his grandson Logan Molony, his in-laws Pat and Frank Kappel, his two brothers Jack (Dinny) and Brad (Sunyo) Turner, several nieces and nephews, and god children and friends. Tom, a lifelong catholic, enjoyed serving the lord in many capacities including: cursillos, CHIRP, and children's liturgy. He was an avid golfer, lover of music, and enjoyed simple pleasures of being with his family. He was also vice president and owner of Carthage Mills Erosions Control. A public visitation will be held July 7, 2016 from 9:00am - 11:00am at St. Pius X Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be held, following the visitation at 11:30 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Pius X Church 384 Dudley Road Edgewood, KY 41017. Online condolences can be made at:

Tina And Family:
Everyone was blessed to have Tom in their lives, and he will be missed. I was an original witness to seeing him perform in his band "The Bagbrothers" in 1979. I am truly sorry for your loss.

I worked for Tom for 7+ years and really appreciated his straight forward honest approach always trying to help me with my responsibilities. He was a good man with a great sense of humor. I remember anytime I had to deal with a difficult family situation he would be the first to offer help and prayers. I will miss talking music with him whether it was his son's guitar playing or some old rock an roll from the 70's and 80's.
Rest in peace Tom with a little rock and roll on the weekends.

Tina,family and friends, Condolences from the Stamm Family. Tom was a great witness to the Catholic Faith. We did Cursillo together and presented on his 1st team. He was instrumental in my Faith journey for which I am very grateful. He fought the good fight, he finished the race, he has kept the faith. May God grant him the great reward and may He bless you with His peace.
