Fort Wright - Todd Wikel Truitt. Beloved son of John L. and Jane W. Truitt. Loving fiancé of Deborah Layne. Dear brother of Michelle Truitt, Jay Truitt and Chuck (Arlene) Truitt. Dear uncle of Amber, Nathan, Joshua (Suzan), Rebeka, Jack and Katherine Truitt. Great uncle of Gabby and Ellie Truitt. Todd was born and raised in Northern KY and was a Beechwood graduate and a UK Graduate. Todd was also the President of Truitt Roofing. Passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the age of 59. Visitation Friday, February 1st from 5:00 pm until time of memorial service 7:00 pm at Middendorf Funeral Home 3312 Madison Pk. Ft. Wright, KY 41017. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed by a memorial contribution to the charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences can be left at www.middendorf-funeralhome.com

I knew Todd since basketball at Caywood in the 6th grade with Coach Doyle
We always had good conversations at the high school reunions, or with a group at The Saddle Club, breakfast, or Dixie Chili those weekends. Todd always took the time to ask how I was doing and how my family was...
Todd was real. Something about Todd made things seem solid when I would go back home for the reunions. Todd was a caring and perceptive person.

I was so sorry to hear of Todd's passing. He was my landlord for 6 years when I lived in Edgewood and I also saw him on Wednesday nights at Falmouth where I worked. He was a good person that always was willing to help others. Prayers to his family for healing, comfort, and peace.
