Ada was involved with the St. Joseph Church and school, an active member of the St. Joseph's Ladies Club, and the Gretna Senior Center . Ada was awarded the order of St. Louis Medallion from the Archbishop at the world famous St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans for her love and devotion of her work with the Catholic church.
