Tomorrow will be 14 years, since God called you from Labour to Reward. You labored in this vineyard in spite of the trials and tribulations of debilitating illness which, at times seemed so hard to bear! Oh, how you longed to join your father, mother, sister and brother.
Now you have Joy! Joy! Joy! rejoicing in that heavenly reunion!

Adrian, I have been on this "faith" journey for the past 13 years (come tomorrow). I could not have made it without faith because truly, it would be impossible to please God.

Happy 72nd Birthday Adrian!!! and also Happy 30th Anniversary too! As the months and years pass, I am comforted by the wonderful years we spent together and the togetherness we shared during our 18 year marriage. There is an anticipation of greater comfort when we meet in heaven, to spend eternity with our heavenly master, never more to part. Until then, sleep on and take your rest. Happy Thanksgiving Adrian!
Well Adrian, it's another Thanksgiving that you are not here to share (I remember how you loved them so), it seems like just yesterday. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you. I'll hear a song, I'll read something you wrote(like one of your sermons) and suddenly you are here again. Time now does not ease the pain of missing you. I look forward to the time when we will be together again now that will truly be a day of Thanksgiving. Sleep on Adrian, I'll see you in that sweet by and by.

It's now that time of year again. I can't believe it has now been 4 Christmases we have not shared. My mind's eye goes back to you rushing around in preparation of your Christmas Band Concert and your Christmas Sermon....... I know that you are still preparing... in that prepared place....conducting that heavenly choir singing praises unto the Lord. My dearest Adrian,
Our anniversary was yesterday and your birthday is tomorrow. I celebrate them in silent sorrow==
as the years drift slowly by, vivid memories fill swollen eyes.
I know that you are resting and free from care and pain, but oh Lord, I wish you were here again!
Some days are dark and cloudy and
sometimes the load is hard to bear
but I am comforted by one of a sermon of yours that I dearly loved
"Walk On By Faith". In it you stated in II Corinthians 5:7 "For we walk by Faith, not by sight", this passage has been a constant source of my daily walk thru this journey along with the "faith" that we shall meet again and rejoice not just on birthdays and anniversaries but forever and ever in Christ the Lord. .....Every Day Is A Day of "Thanksgiving"
As I approach this day of "Thanksgiving", my heart and mind wanders back to the 20 "Thanksgivings" we spent together. The enjoyment we shared in the shopping, preparations and yes, even the eating.
Even though the latter "Thanksgivings" were sometimes spent in hospital rooms yet, we were thankful to share another "Thanksgiving".
Now its "Thanksgiving" once again, you are gone, I am here, no fancy dinners, just memories of how much you and I shared, not just "Thanksgiving" but each and every day.

In one of your many sermons, you chose a subject - "God's Amazing Christmas Gift To Man". Throughout your sermon, you gave examples of just how "Amazing" God's gifts really are. I especially liked your example of how God gave his only son to die for us all and just as "Amazing" as how His birth and his PURPOSE were one and the same.
As I reflect on this very first Christmas without you, I take comfort in the words of your sermon AND in "God's Amazing Gift" of your life to this world, with the knowledge and understanding that it was a life WELL SPENT and that is truly AMAZING.

No one can ever fill the void you left in my life when Our Heavenly Father called you home to rest. I know that you are in the place you have longed to be, free from the pain and suffering that plagued you're earthly vessel for so many years.
