Alberta Keehn Sander

SANDER Alberta Keehn Sander passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Camillia Gardens in Slidell, LA. She was 90. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis C. Keehn, Sr. and Laura Keehn, three brothers Jules Ursin, Albert J. Keehn, Louis C. Keehn, Jr., and her husband, Claude S. Sander, Sr. She is survived by her sister, Laura Keehn Norvell, a daughter, Sandra Sander Schmitt (Leo), and Claude S. Sander, Jr. (Lisa). She is also survived by six grandchildren, Stephen Schmitt, Sr. (Terry), Lori Schmitt Persich (David), Keith Schmitt (Jennifer), Nicole Schmitt, Brian Sander, and Callie Sander, and eight great grandchildren, Stephen Schmitt Jr., Haley Schmitt, Amber Schmitt, Garrett Persich, Brooke Perisch, Jonathan Schmitt, Nicholas Schmitt, and Jacob Schmitt. She was a lifetime resident of Louisiana. She worked in New Orleans for the Recorder of Mortgages for 30 years and lived in Slidell for the last fourteen years. She was loved by numerous relatives and friends. All are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St., on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 12:15 PM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Louis Cemetery #3.
