Alex Lee Nelson

Alex Lee Nelson went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. A native of New Roads, LA and New Orleans, LA for the past seven years he was a resident of Geismar, LA. He leaves to cherish his memories with his beloved wife, June Weaver-Nelson and children Julie Nelson, Laplace LA., Patrice Warren, New Orleans, LA., Kathy Nelson, New Orleans, LA.; stepdaughter, Ingrid Rabb-Meyers, Converse, TX.; a sister, Lillian Pierre, Baton Rouge, LA.; Two brothers Albert Nelson, Kenner, LA and Charles Nelson, Baton Rouge, LA.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Alex was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Nydia Nelson Grandparents Joseph (Joe) and Severine Morris, Albert Nelson, Lilly Harris and a hosts of uncles, aunts and other relatives.
