Dear Barbara,
On behalf of the New Orleans Contact Lens Society, I wish to express our deepest sympathy for the passing of your beloved husband, Buddy. He was an integral member of the society. Buddy was well liked & respected by his colleagues. His smile & personality would always light up the room whenever we got together. Buddy will be sorely missed at the convention & social dinners.

Sincerely,
Stephen M. Welcker,O.D.

I was very saddened by the passing of my uncle Buddy. His love of family and New Orleans were remarkable. For Barbara, his children, and grandchildren, his passing will be felt for some time, but his memories will fondly remain forever.

To my Cousins and to Barbara,
I am saddened by the news of Uncle Buddy's passing. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. I know you will miss him greatly.
During this difficult time, I hope you will draw upon your own strength and the strength of loved ones that hold you in their thoughts.
The optical profession has lost a long-standing and great member. Uncle Buddy helped establish an optical tradition in the family, begun by his wonderful father. This tradition has been a great source of influence for me.
I am sorry I could not be in New Orleans on short notice, but my thoughts are with you today.
Dr Robert C Ramirez, son of Edward L Ramirez
