Alice Kraemer Obituary

KRAEMER Alice Bourgeois Kraemer passed away on March 14, 2011 at the age of 90 years. She is a native of Vacherie, LA and resided in Gretna and Harvey, LA. Mother of the late Fay Ann Kraemer Barbier and mother-in-law of Emile P. Barbier, Jr. Grandmother of Kelly Barbier Lepine (husband, Rene Lepine) and Kevin Barbier (wife, Stacey Gaudet Barbier). Great-grandmother of Dustin Lepine and Allie Barbier. Sister of Elvine Ovella, Boyd Bourgeois, the late Alicibia Francois Bourgeois, Wilfred Bourgeois, Joseph John Bourgeois, Odile Lassere, Emla Ougland, Joyce Barre, Blanche Kilbert and Loice Couret. Daughter of the late Alicibiades Bourgeois and Blanche Reulet Bourgeois. She was a U.S. Army veteran who served her country in the Women's Army Corps (WAC) during World War II. Relatives, friends, members and employees of Key Home School, Capdeboscq Catering and Wal-Mart No. 2706 are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will take place at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 PM to 9 PM and Thursday from 10 AM to 1:30 PM. Directions, call 504-366-4343.
