I never understood life untill the death of a loved one. Actions have an amazing way of traveling through the hearts of those affected, in areas seemingly unrelated. The little amount of time I was ever around Allison left a lasting impression. For days I have prayed,
for days I have wondered if the youth around Harahan has figured out this message. Fighting is not of God. I have seen it end in death, creating tragedies that leave all others, like ourselves, speechless and hurt. Some of us unable to move, to work. It is so very upsetting that such a known lesson is taught again in such a serious and hurtfull way. I love the memory of Allison. And I pray at night, when I cannot sleep because of this thought, that this family can once again be at peace. God bless you all.

Wow. I left Metairie back in June of 1999, and Alison was one of those people whose energy traveled with me. Today, or just a few minutes ago, I found out about her death. Of course, I shall pray and hope for all the friends and family.

Just remember that wherever she is, it is a wonderful place, because wonderful is what she deserves.

:) Love and prayers.

She came into this world crying softly. The Nursary help thought she was such a pretty baby. Shy at first,it took her 4 years to come out from hiding behind my dresses. Once she emerged the rest was history. Poised in front of the cameras when she did commercials, many a Director commented that she "Had that Presence". Her Dad now has much of the footage.

I could never spank her as she was always so entertaining to her beloved sister and I. The worst punishment by far- as many of her future Teachers would find out, was just to put her in the "quiet corner" How she loved to talk!

What her Stepfather Bill, and I want people to know is how beautiful and insightfull she was on the inside as well as the out.

How heart warming it was for the whole Family to see so many Teachers,The Principal, her Terrific extended family of young friends and her wonderful highschool sweetheart.

At her Funeral there was standing room only- not to mention all the beautiful flowers from countless individuals who had loved her so.. In 4 short years of her Highschool, she touched so many hearts. Apparently, she only had 1 enemy.

She always told me(and Bill)she couldn't have asked for a better Mom and that Bill was definately her Favorite Stepdad. That sweet sentiment often repeated, was the last of our many conversations.

Thank you all for your tender, loving words. Those of you who had to drive so far during a hurricane no less- are greatly appreciated by our Families.

Allison will be profoundly missed by so many from Louisiana, Phoenix,Az.and Albuquerque, N.M. Thank you all so much esp.where Allison loved to work, Krispi Kreme. Those 3 weeks of annual vacation you gave her- and us-are now so priceless.

Our Allison will forever be Young,Beautiful and only a prayer away- she even had said so to me before her passing. Always her Mom- Marcy B. Stairwalt& Bill Stairwalt.

Lindsay & Mr.Campbell

Lindsay and i were best friends in the first few years of high school. i remember when Ali first moved here from New Mexico everybody loved her instantly. I remember going to a parade during Mardi Gras with Lindsay, Ali & their dad, we walked up and down St Charles all day and had a great time. I'll never forget her smile, it was beautiful. even though Ali & I didn't know each other too well she was always really nice and treated me as her friend , not just Lindsay's friend. Lindsay, I know this time your going through is horrible and I know we've lost touch over the years, but if you need anything, know I'll be here. Try and keep in touch, Love you always, Stacie.

Allison, I will miss you! No one could ever replace that smile or that spunky attitude we all loved at work. I already miss how we use to skid across the wet floor and now, smushing doughnuts are not going to be the same without you. I'm just glad I got to say bye Friday. I pray for your family. I will see again. Miss, Love, and Remember you always.
