Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years. May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

Dr Parker was my doctor from age 15 until his retirement in 1993. He delivered my two beautiful sons and unfortunately I had to find another doctor to deliver my daughter in 1994. Went from having a Dr who hugged me every time I was there to one that didn't know my name even after seeing him for 9 months.
He was a compassionate doctor who truly cared for his patients. We need more like him!
God bless you Dr. Parker!

Dr. Parker was an awesome doctor. He was professional, respectful, compassionate and had a wonderful sense of humor. I am grateful that I had him as my doctor till he left his practice to become a medical director. I knew that this was the right choice for him because he could teach his staff how to give the best medical care. Dr. Parker's will be missed but what he taught his patients and staff will always be forever. My heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.

My dear friend an longtime co-conspirator MARK PARKER passed away at his home August 1 after declining treatment for metastatic cancer. He spent his last months visiting/being visited by his legions of friends and family.
The first man in his family to live past 60, he was just short of his 86th birthday (correct me if I'm off by a year or so).
I was fortunate enough to visit with him and say goodbye earlier this year. We were great fans of each other. For many years we would go out to lunch together to catch up and he would always grab the check. To my protests, he would reply each time, Next time. Next time you can pay. He left this earth with me and many others in his debt, in more ways than one.

On behalf of the Massarini family, may I say that while saddened by his passing, Dr. Parker was a joy to know and to work with. His humor and support were wonderful. We will remember him with fondness.

God bless Doc. He was almost a second dad to me for most of my life. Also my Confirmation sponsor and, so many decades later, by my side when my father passed away. Doc, I'm glad we got in that one last visit - sharing that oyster po boy with you will always be a stellar evening for me. Much love and many prayers to the family, Charles

Mark and I were graduates from Jesuit in 1948 and
usually met every 5 years at the reunions. I moved to Dallas in 1954 and have corresponded with him via email for several years.
Was shocked when he announced his cancer and have kept up my correspondence with him during the last trying months. He was always positive about his condition and always replied "it is what it is". Always prayed that his fight would be short and that all of our class of '48 would eventually have our final reunion with the Lord presiding. He was a good friend and I will miss our weekly email conversations. In his life he produced life and there will be a never ending end of his legacy.

Dr.Parker was my Doctor for many years and delivered two of my sons. He was the best and always treated his patients like family. I was heartbroken when he closed his office and wondered where and how he was doing. My sincere condolences to his family. To his children your dad was an amazing, caring Physician and he was truly loved by his patients.
