Andre' Joseph Adams

Andre' Joseph Adams passed away peacefully at the age of 63 on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 6:55pm. He was born in New Orleans, LA on January 13, 1960 to Lionel and Eugenia Adams. Andre' was educated in New Orleans. In 1985 he married and moved to New York, where he worked as a master carpenter until his retirement. Andre' leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Eugenia Harris; step-father, George Harris; Andre was a caring brother to Mildred Dees and Melisa Adams; Lionel Adams and David Adams. Beloved father to Andre' Dozier. Proud grandfather of Keyondre, Kayla, Dillon and Gavin. Loving uncle to Fredrick and Cina Dees; Fred Dees, Jalayasia, Selena and Jermal Fizer. Affectionally known as brother to; Tony Curtis, Hugh Davis, Antione Cayette, Joseph Martin and Joshua Brown; and special in-laws, the Martin family. He was preceded in death by his father, Lionel J. Adams, Sr., brothers, Andrew Adams and Charles Adams. Andre' was a devoted son, brother, uncle, grandfather, cousin, brother-in-law and a good friend. Family and friends are welcome to attend services at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 6530 Hayne Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70126 on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1:00pm. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 12:45pm. Due to Covid-19, everyone attending is encouraged to wear masks and adhere to social distancing.
