"Andi"
Andrea M. (Palmer) Parodi, age 52 of Elsmere, DE, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at home surrounded by her family.
Andi was a devoted wife and mother whose greatest joy was spending time with her children and family. She worked for many years at Wilmington Trust Co. and most recently at Catholic Charities, Inc. Andi was an angel on earth who always was the caregiver, peace-maker, and the glue that held her family together.
Andi will be greatly missed by her husband, Mike; sons, Karl, Kris (Amy), Andrew (Lauren); and daughter, Laura. She is also survived by her mother, Ruth O. Palmer, brothers, Ralph (Pam) and Jimmy (Kim); sisters, Lena, Renee (Henry), and Mary (Rick); and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Andi was predeceased by her father, Ralph M. Palmer.
The family wishes to thank the staff, nurses, and CNA's of Delaware Hospice for their support during this difficult time.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4th and Bancroft in Wilmington, on Friday morning, September 7 at 10:30am. Interment will follow in Silverbrook Cemetery (www.silverbrookcemetery.com). Visitation will be held at the CHARLES P. ARCARO FUNERAL HOME, 2309 Lancaster Ave. in Wilmington, on Thursday evening, September 6 from 6-8pm. No visitation will be held on Friday morning prior to mass.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, 4701 Ogletown Stanton Rd., Newark, DE 19713.

Andi, you have a niece Ryleigh who reminds us of you. Like you Ry is smart, knows what she wants and has a great sense of humor. So many wonderful memories but the one that always stays with me is how good Andi treated all the kids (nephews, nieces and her friends children). We miss you dearly and can´t look at a Lipton tea bag without thinking of you. We all love and miss you. ~Kim~

Dear Mike, and family
The years have gone by, Andi is still missed so much. I miss her 11 pm phone calls before I went to bed. She is forever in our hearts. I wish she could see her two grandchildren, she would have loved them so much.
