The staff of the Clinton Branch of Audubon Regional Library and Mary Byrnes Peterson wish to extend their sincere sympathy to the family of Andrew Lane Plauche. The Library staff were privileged to be able to extend assistance and support to the Plauche law firm and the Plauche family in the aftermath of Katrina, as well as assisting many other evacuees from New Orleans. We remain appreciative of the books donated to the Library from the Plauche family in honor of Mr. Plauche's birthday, and will continue to honor him in this gift.

Let us also take this opportunity to say how grateful we were to be of some small assistance to the many evacuees who used the library as a refuge and resource. We could not do much, but the little we did was from a full heart.

Andy, please accept our heartfelt sympathies. Jimmy told us how Mr. Plauche was not only your dad but a friend and mentor. You now have the challenge of carrying on the Plauche legacy. In my opinion, you're well on your way. Please give our best to Diane and the kids.

You have our deepest sympathies and condolences in the death of Andrew Lane Plauch. We live in 2nd ward, not too far from the Lane/Plauch property. We want you to know how much we have admired the family committment to the land and to the people who have served you through the generations. We are also pleased that the family has returned to a Law Office in Clinton.
