Anita Haynes Fields

1923 - 2016

Mother Anita Haynes Fields, was born Thursday, May 17th, 1923 to the late Deacon Nathan Haynes and the late Mother Nellie Gray Haynes, in Tunica, Louisiana. She would spend her life with 9 siblings. She was educated in the West Feliciana Parish School Having been reared in a Christian family, Mother Fields accepted the Lord as her personal Savior and was baptized by the Late Rev. Robert Combs, Sr. at the St. John Baptist Church in Tunica, LA. In the year 1949, she would move to New Orleans, Louisiana, where she would call home for 67 of her 93 years. She would later find employment at Albert M. Stall, Sr. Enterprises in New Orleans, Louisiana where she would ultimately retire after 25+years. Mother Fields leaves to cherish her memory: her sons: Stanley Haynes and Rev. Lee E. Fields, Jr., six grandchildren: Anngerald NeiNarbar Haynes-Mitchell and Jasmine Danielle fields, Katlyn Michelle Fields and Robin (Attorney H. Nixon) Hayes, Victoria and Johnathan Hayes.
