Ann Boggan Obituary

Ann Cuccia Clement Boggan peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late James L. Boggan, Sr. Daughter of the late John Cuccia and Dora Talbot Cuccia Clement. Adopted Daughter of the late Volsie "Pete" Clement. Devoted mother of James Boggan, Jr., Leslie Boggan, Rebecca Pekinto, Annette Perrin and the late Sidonia Richoux and the late Elizabeth Holt. Sister of Betty Duhon and the late Shirley Barrios Castagnetta. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. Ann was born in Napoleonville and was a lifelong resident of Westwego, Louisiana. She worked for 30 years as a Receptionist at West Jefferson Medical Center. She was an active member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Ladies Altar Society, VFW Auxiliary #6793, American Legion Auxiliary #206, Am Vet Auxiliary #38 and West Jefferson Radiology Department. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the Staff of Wynhoven Health Care Center for their love and care given to Ann. Donations may be made in memory of Ann Boggan to the Alzheimer's Association of New Orleans. Family and friends, also employees of Budget Ironworks are invited to attend the Graveside Services at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, Louisiana on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 2PM. I'm so, sorry to here the passing of Mrs. Ann
Mrs. Ann was such a beautiful person inside and out.
Mrs. Ann Loved and Lived for her family. I can remember when I was dating Donie.
I Loved going to Mrs. Ann and Mr. James house and talking with them. They always made me feel as though, I was part of their family.
I offer my condolences and prayers for the Boggan family.
