"Let the work I've done speak for me" is a true testament of the life of Mrs. Anna Rodgers Harvey.
Our prayers go out to the Harvey family. Mrs. Harvey was a counselor to my daughter at McDonogh 35 High School. She nurtured her and played a major role in her academic success. Everytime I met with her with concerns of my daughter fitting in McD 35's program she would reassure me that all would be well and to keep praying.
Her advice came true because that roneagle that she nutured is now working on her Doctorate. Thank you Mrs. Harvey for all you've done and now you can nurture your successful roneagles from the heavens above.

Dear Kemisha,
I am so deeply sadden by the passing of Mrs. Anna & of you and your family's loss. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy & prayers for comfort & peace of mind.
It will be hard as you prepare for your moms homegoing, it will be hard to leave her at the cemetary, it will be hard as the holidays fastly approach and especially hard around her birthday, your birthday & Mother's Day. During the times which I've mentioned, remember her smile, love, compassion for others especially children, the training and the relationship with God that she poured into you, your family and others. Mrs. Anna truly cared for me as a child @ Beacon Light B.C. picking me up, dropping off @ youth choir rehearsal, youth events and even let me sleep over when my single mother worked nights and couldn't get me to church events.
I will truly miss Mrs. Anna. She was small physically, but had a huge heart, huge smile and huge spirit! Her living was not in vain....her memory and spirit will live on forever through the lives she touched and changed.

Mrs. Harvey was a joy as a teacher at McDonogh #35. She and I were about the same height, but that did not mean that she did not demand and command respect (as Teachers should get anyway!). She could be firm, but also warm and always with a smile. I will truly miss her.
