Mrs. Devoney,
I just learned of Mr. DeVoney's passing and am truly saddened. He was wonderful to me during my time at A-MID. I so admired his vision and passion to make N.O. East a thriving part of the city. His accomplishments were many, and he was very much respected. You have my deepest sympathy.

Barbara:
A fellow modeler, Raoul St. Maurice, called today with the sad news of Tony's passing. Ruby and I want you to know that we will always have very fond memories of Tony - he was a good man and a good friend. As you know, Tony and I go back to the early seventies when we first met through his hobby shop in Kenilsworth. We spent a lot of Sunday afternoons at Joe Brown Park. He helped Ruby and I buy our first home together and, later, some rental property.
We are now living in San Antonio - don't know when we will return to New Orleans just yet.
God bless you and the family.

Barbara: I am now living in Fort Myers Florida, but I read in the morning paper about your husband. I can only tell you that I just lost my husband 2 months ago, and I know how you feel. My sincerest sympathy to you and all your children. I hope this memo helps you with your grief. I know when George died it helped sustain me that someone that I know gave me their love and understanding. Sincerely--Shirley Z. Pons
