Anthony Vital Legendre Jr.

Anthony Vital Legendre, Jr., age 81, a resident of Waveland, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021, in Bay St. Louis. Anthony was a native of New Orleans. He was in the U.S. Army and was employed with Union Pacific as a supervisor. Anthony was a lifetime member of the VFW, post 4808, Lakeshore, MS. He loved football, basketball and pretty much any sports. He was of the Catholic faith and was a Republican. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Shea Legendre; son, Michael V. Legendre; parents, Anthony V. Legendre, Sr., and Frances A. Legendre; and sister, Ruby L. Smith. Anthony is survived by his son; David (Brigetta) Legendre; sister, Margie L. (Gerald) Asher; and grandchildren, Sara Legendre, Samantha Legendre, Jacob Laboy; and a host of nieces and nephews. The graveside service will be on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Hope Mausoleum, 4841 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA at 11:30 a.m. Riemann Family Funeral Home, 141 Hwy 90, Waveland, MS is serving the family.
