Ashley D. Lewis

Ashley D. Lewis departed this life on Thursday, January 13th, 2022, at the age of 38 years old. She was a native of Bridge City, Louisiana and a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana. Beloved daughter of Jeanette Hills and Dallas Custard, stepdaughter of Charles Hills Sr. Sister of Charles Hills Jr. (Silasa), stepsister to Cornell Smith and the late Charles Michael Anthony Eugene. Ashley leaves to cherish her precious memories, her children: Latrice (Michael), Ebony, Keri, Myakia, Dorlicia, Jade, Dejuan, Bryson, 1 granddaughter Caleah, and 1 nephew Cairo. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives including her two best friends: Lakesisha Ruffin and Tyquinica Triffin. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration on January 22nd, 2022, at Little Zion Baptist Church located at 441 Wilson Street, Marrero, LA 70072. The visitation will begin at 9 a.m., and the service will begin at 10 a.m. Pastor Norman Smith, officiating and interment will follow at Woodlawn Park Cemetery.
