Audrey Bourgeois Obituary

Audrey Rita Bourgeois passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the age of 80. Devoted mother of Farrell Louis Bourgeois Jr., Loyd Joseph Bourgeois Sr., Tina Bourgeois Franks, and the late John Thomas Bourgeois Sr. A proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Prince Joseph Berthelot and Stella Plaisance Bethelot. Sister of the late Adam, Gary, Jules, Barbara, and Reno. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was a native of New Orleans, but a long time resident of Marrero. She was retired from the staff of Mosca's Italian Restaurant. She loved music, dancing, visiting the casinos, parades, traveling, and spending time with her family. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Friday, March 17, 2017, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin Thursday, March 16, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and continue Friday from 9:00 AM until the Mass. Interment following in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Avondale, LA.
