Audrey Castaing Cox

Audrey Castaing Cox, September 12, 1936 - August 23, 2021. Audrey Claire Castaing Cox, born September 12, 1936, in New Orleans, LA, was an active member of Canal Street Presbyterian Church (Mosaic). She faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher, was a member in both Tau Epsilon and Women of the Church, and finally with Gideons International. Upon moving to Lindale, Texas, She worshipped at Community Christian Fellowship with her family. Audrey was a devoted, loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who daily lived a vibrant faith in her Lord Jesus Christ. Her life served as a testimony to her Savior. Audrey died very gently at home on Monday, August 23, 2021, at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Beverly Castaing Toca, and her brother-in-law, Joseph O. Toca, Jr.; and her parents Henry Joseph Castaing and Verna Elizabeth Jones Castaing. She was survived by her husband, Bobby Eugene Cox (who since passed away on September 17, 2021). She is survived by her two sons, J. Robert Cox (Johanna) of Lindale, Texas, and Keith Brian Cox (Pam) of Flowery Branch, Georgia, and grandchildren Mattew Cox, John Cox, Bethany Cox Baggs (Jonathan), Andrew Cox, Nathaniel Cox, and Grace Cox. A private interment will be help on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:00 am. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 pm at Canal Street Presbyterian Church (Mosaic) at 4302 Canal Street for a memorial service. All are welcome to attend.
