Ava Esther Rowe Gray

Ava Esther Rowe Gray, age 68, peacefully entered into eternal on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at her residence. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of LaPlace, LA. Ava was a graduate of Southern University and a retired Disability Determination Specialist with the State of Louisiana. Loving mother Desmond Adair Gray, Valona Janelle Gray (Lenion) Baldwin, Marlise Gray (Lawrence) Ogletree and Philip Benjamin Gray. Grandmother of Mya Nicole Ogletree, Jasmine and Anthony. Daughter of the late James William Rowe and Esther Scott Rowe. Sister of Betty R. Larkin and the late Gay Rowe Fulton. Former wife of Bobby James Gray; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of White Dove Fellowship and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at White Dove Fellowship Chapel 2, 3600 Manhattan Blvd. Harvey, LA, on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the above named church chapel 2.
