Barbara Louise Elizabeth Laurendine Davis, age 80, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Olive Branch, MS, transcended to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. She was born on April 28, 1944 to the late Joseph David and Margaret Iolla Elley Laurendine. Mrs. Davis leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 64 years, Eddie Lee Davis Sr., along with their children, Eddie Jr., Corinthia, the late Anthony and Ronald Davis, and a host of other family members and friends. Relatives and friends; Staff and Alumni of SUNO, Dillard University and the University of Memphis community are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration service honoring the life and legacy of the late Barbara Laurendine Davis will be held at Law Street Baptist Church, 3132 Law Street, New Orleans, LA 70127 on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 10 am, Pastor Johnnie Arvie, Officiating. Visitation 9 am in the church. Interment Resthaven Memorial Park, 10400 Old Gentilly Road, New Orleans, LA 70127.
