Barbara Seither Obituary

Barbara Reuther Seither passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at theage of 82. Her final days were spent surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of New Orleans and resident of Covington for the last 16 years. Barbara was a bus driver for Jefferson Parish School Board for over 25 years. She is preceded in her death by her husband George M. Seither, Sr. She is survived by her 7 children: George Seither, Jr. (Theresa), Beth Wilson (Kenneth), Mary Seither, Patty Holliday (Bret), Kathy Schou, Willie Seither (Donna), and Michael Seither (Shannon). Barbara was also blessed with 18 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. She was loved by all that knew her and will be missed. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until Mass time. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Barbara Seither's name. Condolences may be expressed at www.greenwoodfh.com.
