Barbara Wright Obituary

Barbara Louise Wright died on August 25, 2002 in Buras, LA. She was born March 3, 1955 in Grants, New Mexico to parents, Morris and Louise Wright, both deceased. Barbara was a registered nurse and worked many years at Singing River Hospital's Emergency room, Trauma Centers in California and a short time at Ocean Springs Hospital. She was very fond of nature, the beautiful rivers of Louisiana and Mississippi, fishing and boating in these waters as well as the coast of Florida. She is survived by two sisters, Marlou Boykin of Boothville, LA. and Sharon Kennedy of Freeport, FL and one brother, Morey Wright of Mesa, AR. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in LA. and FL. Memorial services will be held in Boothville Community Center, Boothville, LA. on Saturday, August 31, 2002 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Interment will be private. VICKERS, VERRETTE & DORNAN FUNERAL HOME, 3027 Jean Lafitte Pkwy., Chalmette in charge of arrangements.
