I worked with Dr Goldman for almost 10 years in Kansas City. I learned so much from him and he made it fun to work with him. I was shocked to hear of his passing. R.I.P.

I think of Dr.Goldman often and I am glad he was my doctor and my mothers..Yes he did do things his way and he really cared about his patients. My mother and I agreed with him about his recommendation of the chicken soup but I believed in adding plenty of garlic to his recipeq1..It worked like a charm in many instances. My thoughts are with his family as I know they must miss him very much.. I would like to share that I think ke saved my life in 2010 by being adamant that I should get a routine colonoscopy.I hemmed and hawwed and didn't want to do it since I thought previous ones were uncomfortable but he didn't let up so I followed his advice and sure enough it was "colon cancer"..Because of his persistent encouragement,I was able to be spared a colostomy and just had a portion of my colon removed with a full recovery.I am forever grateful to him and told him so. He wouldn't take credit for it since he was "just doing his job" but I know he went beyond his job.

The Goldmans were neighbors, both Barry and Madeline so generous, always on the lookout for ways to give and be there for my family with that great big energy. "Dr Action" as he was known to be, he is greatly missed. God bless you Madeline, offering sincere condolences and prayers on behalf of my family.

Dr Barry was my primary for years until he had to take leave at Ochsner to deal with his own illness. In 2009 I went to see him shortly after my darling wife had passed. He pushed me to get a colonoscopy. I did and discovered I had colon cancer. Due to early detection it was Stage One. Surgery saved me. Many colonoscopies later, I am still cancer free. I credit my doctor Frank Sinatra with saving me. Barry was a great doc. I went back to him when he tried to make a return but he was still too sick and that didn't last. Love ❤ that tough Dr. Barry. Prayers for him & family. God Bless & Rest In Peace.

How difficult it is to lose someone who is so dearly loved and needed. He dedicated himself to family, and so many others. May you draw comfort and strength each day through prayer and God's promises. (Jeremiah 29 : 11-13) -

Dearest Maddie - While I rarely could bring myself to call Barry anything but Dr. Goldman, he always had my admiration, respect and gratitude for all the many times and years that he treated Michael and each one of my kids - no matter where in the world they may have been at the time. My heart aches with you as you learn to live life with out his presence here. Know that I am always available to you.
Love,

I had the privilege of being one of Dr. Barry's patients. He was a wonderful physician that was hard on me but I knew it came from a place of concern. You will be missed Dr. G! To your beautiful wife and children, may the God of comfort sustain you while you go through this most difficult time.
