Barry VAN ALLEN Obituary
After being raised in N. Spokane, and graduating from Rogers High School in 1959, he joined the US Navy. There Barry served four years in the Pacific and the South China Sea aboard the USS NICHOLAS DD-449. Upon honorable discharge he returned home to Spokane and worked for Clark Fork Lift. Eventually, Barry moved to Seattle where he worked for the Port of Seattle as a fork lift mechanic, until his retirement. He then moved to Newport, WA living a peaceful retirement for 20 years.
Barry enjoyed fishing, boating, friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents and leaves behind fond memories with a sister, Judi Sharp; brother William Moberly and a sister Christine McFarland.
