Beryl Landry Von Hoven, passed away on February 1, 2018 at her residence in Metairie. Age 87, a native of Gretna and a resident of Metairie. Wife of the late Thomas J. Von Hoven, Sr. Beloved mother of Mark Von Hoven (Mary), Deborah V. Robbins (Gary) and the late Stephen M. Von Hoven and Thomas J. Von Hoven, Jr. Daughter of the late Sidney Landry and Elise Babin Landry. Sister of the late Ruth Hayes. Grandmother of Mark S. Von Hoven, Michelle V. Pollock (Adam) and the late Michael T. Von Hoven. Great grandmother of Kayla and Mason Von Hoven, Madison Weales and Mariah Theriot. Beryl was a wonderful and loving mother, she enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and loved her New Orleans Saints and seafood. She loved working in her flower beds. She was a graduate of St. Stephens High School and was a parishioner of St. Christopher Catholic Church. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 12:00 noon with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
