Danita Marie Coleman passed away on April14, 2023, at the age of 46; she was born on January 14, 1977, to the late Valerie Coleman and the late Wayne Stewart. Danita leaves to cherish her memories, her 2 children–Davon and Dwayne Coleman; 2 grandchildren–Kannon and Journey Coleman; grandmother–Doris Stewart; grandfather–Henry Coleman; best friend–Yashika Byes; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins. Danita was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother–Shirley Coleman; grandfather–Leonard Stewart Sr.; and 3 uncles–Michael, Leonard Jr., and James Stewart. Family and friends are invited to the Celebration of Life service on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Murray Henderson Funeral Home, 1209 Teche Street, New Orleans, LA 70114. Elder Joyce Butler will officiate. The Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Professional arrangements are entrusted to Murray Henderson Funeral Home.
