Bruce Edwin Frank

1947 - 2023

Bruce Edwin Frank, age 76, entered eternal rest peacefully on the morning of Friday, September 15, 2023. He was born in New Orleans, LA on August 9, 1947, to Walter Henry Frank Jr. and Gloria Isabel Treadaway. He was the loving husband to the love of his life, Mary Marion Frank. He was an amazing father to his only son, Shanon Edwin Frank. He was the proud grandfather of Sean Jackson and a wonderful brother. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his brother David Paul Frank, and his beloved dogs Coco and Cody Mick. He is survived by his grieving son, Shanon Frank, his daughter-in-law, Jordan Weinberger, and grandson Sean Jackson. He is also survived by his siblings, Callie Littlejohn (Daniel), Michelle Stegall (Cecil), Michael Frank (Linda), Bonnie Frank, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. He leaves behind his longtime companion, Babs Minutillo, and her daughter Laura. Bruce graduated from Warren Easton High School and went on to become a Master Pipe Fitter. He worked for the city of New Orleans for over 30 years as a Building Inspector. He was a Golden Glove Boxer and had a love of sailing, racing, and rebuilding classic cars. He was one of the kindest men to walk this earth, who would give you the shirt off his back and help anyone in need. He will be gravely missed by all who were blessed to know him. There will be a celebration of life on October 2nd, 2023, from 11:30-3:00 at The Collab in Covington, LA, 600 N Highway 190 Ste 4, Covington, LA 70433.
