Al Templet (Calvin Albert Templet) passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the age of 88. He was a native of Plattenville, LA and a resident of Kenner, LA. Beloved husband of the late Ella Louise Templet. Father of Yvonne Brossette (Robert), Calvin Albert Templet, Jr. (Charlene), Jason Templet (Arnell), Tracy Wiley (Steve) and the late Tammy Lang (John). Son of the late Jean Leo and Maria Guillot Templet. Brother of the late Kate Templet Rivette, Marcelle Templet Chamberlain, James Templet, Maria Templet Adolph, Essie Templet Foret, George Templet, Leroy Templet and Jeanne Marie Templet Richard. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral. Service at L. A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. Visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 2605 River Rd., New Orleans, LA 70121.
