Camilla Delise Obituary
Camilla Ann Crowe Trapani Delise of Norridgewock, Maine and New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2023. She was born January 1, 1938, to Guy T. and Sarah Crommett Crowe. Camilla, Camille, Teedle, and Happy, having many names was very active in her younger years. She graduated at Madison High School in Maine participating in Varsity Cheerleading, the Bulldog Yearbook Staff, Drama Club and Class President. She also was a Disc Jockey in Skowhegan, Maine, WGHN "Teens In Tune With The Time". She participated in pageants and won "Miss Somerset County". She left for Boston, Massachusetts, to attend the Leland Powers School of Television, Radios and Theater. She did Summer Stock at Lake Sunapee Playhouse, Georges Mills, New Hampshire and Rockland County Playhouse in New York. She appeared with Katherine Hepburn in the American Shakespeare Festival Company Production of "MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING" at Shubert Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. She attended dancing at Arthur Murray in New York. She then partnered with a dance team called "Renald and Camille" and performed at Clubs, Hotels, in Bear Mountain and the Catskill Mountains. She met and fell in love with a trumpet player Frank Joseph Trapani, in the Catskill Mountains, a musician from New Orleans, Louisiana. They were married six (6) months later where she traveled with her husband and the Johnny Long Band. She had two (2) children Tari Nanette Trapani and Joseph Guy Trapani. She then became a mother and homemaker, but not for long. As soon as her children were in school, she became a beautician and had her own beauty salon in her home. After that, she became a tour guide, and tax-preparer with H & R Block. She then became a real estate agent with Stan Webber and acquired several real estate properties for their retirement later in life. She traveled all over the world with her husband and the Dukes of Dixieland. She also loved her many family vacations. Sadly, she became a widow in 1989. Ten (10) years later, she met another musician, Peter Delise and was happily married again and got to live life all over traveling the world. She preceded in death by both husbands and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Tari Trapani Autin and her husband, Jessie Joseph Autin, Jr., of Metairie, Louisiana, Joseph Guy Trapani and his wife, Melanie Sohocki Trapani, of Burlington, North Carolina. She was blessed with five (5) grandchildren, Jessie Joseph Autin, III, and his wife, Mandy Dixon Autin, Shane Evan Autin, Ashley Ann Autin Galey and her husband, Gregory Paul Galey, Joseph John Trapani and Katherine Kamille Trapani and seven (7) great grandchildren, Tyler Jordan Autin, Emma Joy Autin, Shane Evan Autin, Jr., Brielle Marie Autin, Briaunna Jamie-Leigh Galey Jenkins and her husband, Isaac (Zac) Estel Jenkins, IV, Ava Elizabeth Galey and Gregory Paul Galey, Jr. She is also survived by her loving sister, Candice Ruth Crowe Clements from Oakland, Maine, and niece, Karen Camille Clements Myhaver and her husband, Mike Myhaver, great nieces and nephews, Justin Joseph Clements, Travis Leonard Stymiest, Jr., Sarah Ryleigh Rodrigue and Dylan Michael Rodrigue and one great grandniece, Addison Jane Daigle and many cousins and friends. Her wishes were to be cremated and half of her ashes with her husband, Frank Joseph Trapani, in Lake Lawn Park, New Orleans, Louisiana, and the other half of her ashes spread over her mother and father in Skowhegan, Maine.
