Rhett,
Your daddy is an angel in heaven. Keep him close to your heart and his love will never fade. He will continue to hunt and fish, but in a different way. My thoughts are with you and your mom at this difficult time. BIG hugs to you.

Carey was an older first cousin whom I never knew very well. However, I do have childhood memories of casual Christmas afternoons at Pa Pa and Maw Maw Meches in Arnaudville. He was usually talking, laughing, and generally having a good time. My heart goes out to Aunt Mary Ann and the rest of the Meche family.

The Carey Meche Family,
Just a month ago I asked my brother-in-law Keith Lalonde if he would happen to see his relative Carey, tell him hi for me. Carey worked in the same building that I worked in when he was with Acadian Ambulance over 30 years ago. God how he made me laugh on some of my worst days. I have never forgotten him. I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost my husband to cancer 10 years ago and think about him everyday.

My deepest sympathy to the Meche family. I met Carey on the worst day of my life when he came to tell me that my 20 year old Son Christopher had been killed in a drilling accident. I will never forget the kindness he showed to Me and my family as he held me from hitting the ground and as he held our hands to pray.

We will never know why bad things happen to good people but know that he is in a better place.

You are all in my prayers. God bless you all and may he continue to hold you in his arms during these difficult times ahead.

Jonathan, Jena and the entire Meche Family:

Caring thoughts are with all of you in this most difficult time of sorrow. We have such great memories of your Dad. He was definitely the life of the party, such a "hoot". He went out doing what he enjoyed most, socializing with friends in a boat and fishing. He was such a great father to you and your little brother, Rhett. His unconditional love for all of you and Gina never went unnoticed. He had many friends and will truly be missed. May he rest in peace.

With Deepest Sympathy,

Mr. Glenn, Ms. Maria, Sean and Megan Siebenkittel
