Happy Birthday Lil Bro,
I miss you more than words can explain. Not a day goes by that I don´t think about you. You´ve got two beautiful granddaughters now, and your little man-your grandson-just turned 4. He´s sharp as can be, and I know you´d be so proud of him.
Mom is hiding from him right now though, because he´s already got his suitcase packed and says he´s ready to catch a flight to New Orleans to see her! That´s the kind of spirit I know you´d love.
Your kids are doing great, holding everything down just like you would´ve wanted. You´d be proud of the way they´re standing strong and keeping your legacy alive.
I just want to wish you a Happy Heavenly Birthday, Lil Bro. I love you and I miss you forever.

Carlos this is your mother who misses you every day. I try my best to live right and to go on and not to live in the past but don't stop me for wishing you were here. Watching your girls grow up and have family's of their own I think you would be so busy running around because they are a handful. But then again maybe not. They may have gone a different route. We will never know. I try my best between them and my grown up brothers. I used to tell mama not to leave those boys here to be responsible for but it seems to happen anyway. I know what you would say like all true Christians believers would say God don't put not on you that he knows you can't handle. But sometimes I just wounder if I'm doing all I can or what is right. But anyway I just stopped by to wish you a Happy Birthday and to tell you I love and missed you.

Son it's been 20 year's and you are still staying on my mind like yesterday. I'm forever calling your someone else your name by accident. Your girl are growing up with kids of there own. I don't see them as much anymore but we talk, text and video chat. I'm not sure if anyone else no what day it is even your brother. But that's okay because I'm here baby boy and mama love you still.

It´s another year and I´m still struggling. It´s been hard with so many of the family members gone including your dad and grandmother alone with others. I´m still blessed with your girls and brother and grandkids and great-grandchildren. But that don´t stop me from missing you. Just think 21 years is a lifetime for me and I will always will love you and continue to miss you.

Son I miss you it’s been to long. I miss you so much I can’t even tell you. Your girls are all grown up now and have children of their own. Two great granddaughters and one great grandson. I wish you were here . Everyone is gone escept aunt Velma. That leaves just cousins. I have been doing my best to look out for Tyrone but the others are a handful. It’s driving me crazy and I’m tried.I’m getting older and I’m not as sure of things like I use to be. You know your mother use to be so swift nothing could begin way.I could handle four or five things all at one time but no more I’m getting slower. I had to get dentures and I hate them. I can’t eat with them I my mouth you would laugh at me right now I wish you were here.

When times like these arise there is only one thing to do; pray. Pray and ask God to bring us through hard times like these. It makes no sense to be sad because you are in a better place than us, but you are missed.
My heart goes out to your family and to Danielle, Jasmine and Raven. I have known you since 1994 and it was just within the last 2 years that you "let your guard down" and smiled more often. I will miss you joking with me when I call the house for Danielle at an undecent hour. I will miss seeing you when I am out. Nonetheless, all who know you can see you again when they look at Jasmine.
So, on behalf of the Lockley Family (Danielle's family), you will be missed and eternally loved.
