Caroline Elizabeth Huner Poupart

Caroline Elizabeth Huner Poupart, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 79. She was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, born on November 2, 1944, to the late Herbert William Huner Sr. and Myrtle Zinser Huner. Caroline leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her husband of 58 years, Denis Poupart; two children, Michael Denis Poupart and Melissa Ann Poupart; one brother, Herbert Huner Jr. (Sharon Hamilton Huner); and a host of extended family members and friends whom she loved dearly. Caroline attended the University of New Orleans and was employed as a Medical Billing Specialist for many years. She will fondly be remembered as a devoted mother to her children and extra-special aunt to her great-nieces, Sydney Elizabeth Lee and Shelby Ann Lee, and great-nephew, Jacob William Lee, whom she was like a grandmother to, as well as, her grand-dog, Luka. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, April 8, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Caroline will be laid to rest in Lake Lawn Park Cemetery in New Orleans following services.
