To the Family of Cecil Boswell;

You are all in my prayers at this difficult time, and as you know, the pain will lessen but the good memories you have will live with you forever.
Cecil Boswell was my friend and manager when he worked in Shreveport, La. I enjoyed working for him and even being in his wedding. It's been a long time since I've seen him but I know he still had that sweet smile.
May God bless all of you,

There was no greater manager than Cecil. He was a person who truly cared about the people who worked for him. It was a great pleasure to know him. I worked with him in Shreveport and New Orleans. He displayed qualities not often seen every day in other management folks! He will be missed, but his legacy lives on.

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Cecil Allen Boswell our “Brother-in-Arms”. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Cecil. And to Cecil it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during the Korean War while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Cecil, we bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace.

On behalf of the 1,409 members of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Cecil’s family and loved ones.
