My brother-n-law, my brother-n-law, you taught me so much about life, becoming a man and taking care of family. You showed me the way to the path and journey I'm on now. I miss our talks, I miss you being here with us, laughing and sharing the good and bad times. I know I have a lot of growing still left to do, but the seed you help sow is growing strong!!! You taught me to stay ready, so I will never have to get ready!!!

Still unbelievable that we were celebrating a new life to losing my grandpa 3 days later one thing I know he put up a good fight he lived his life and I will miss him very much. From him making me laugh or him saying your people your people to the very last talk we had about making sure I go get my car checked for a recall and my car don't even have a recall if you know me you know I love my grandparents deeply for them I'm (one call that's all) LITERALLY lol I'm going to miss him and his two gold teeth (yeah you see them slugs huh *his voice*) and him telling everyone he get whatever he want. I'm going to miss you and I love you so much Paw Paw! Watch over us and tell Cyrus we love and miss him !

We moved in the neighborhood13 years ago. Cecil introduced himself and welcomed us day one. My husband suffered a debilitating injury just months later. Cecil got with another neighbor and came to me to say they would be keeping our lawns kept for as long as we needed. I will NEVER forget that because he didn't have that to do he barely knew us. That gesture will live in me for a lifetime. Sharon if i, my husband, or our sons can do anything to help you please reach out. I pray you find comfort in knowing Cecil was a WONDERFUL man. I'm praying that God comfort, keep and strengthen you.

Just want to give my condolences and love to the family of Mr. Cecil. I remember as a little girl going to the BFI picnics with my uncle Daniel Similin and my aunt Zelda Similin. He was always so full of life. Mr. Cecil and my uncle would have a good ol time, all though those picnics were over 20 years ago I immediately remembered his face..
