Charles Bailey Obituary

Charles Gerald Bailey affectionately known by his friends as "Charlie Wop" entered into eternal rest on December 11, 2022, at the age of 63. Preceded in death by his parents Charles and Gloria M. Bailey. Father of Jari Bailey and Grandfather of Corey Bailey, Thailand Rudolph, Malik and Justin Bickham. He was the loving brother of five sisters, Rosalind Bailey, Deanne Bailey, Terrilyn Bailey, Myra B. Lewis, and Leslie B. White. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Graduate of Joseph S. Clark Senior High School class of 1977. Family and friends are invited to attend The Celebration of Life Mass at 10:00 am Thursday January 12, 2022, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Ave., New Orleans, LA 70119. Interment Private. Professional arrangements are entrusted to Murray Henderson Funeral Home, 1209 Teche Street, New Orleans, LA 70114.
