Charles Camel on Saturday, October 5, 2002. Husband of the late Mildred Cureau Camel. Son of the late John and Rebecca Jiles Camel. Father of Corey Banks, Charlene Banks, Bonnie Jefferson, Corliss Walker, Yvette Camel-Smith and the late Melba Camel. Brother of Oscar Jiles and Leona Russell. Father-in-law of Alvin Ricky Smith, Kenneth Walker and James Jefferson. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of Epiphany Catholic Church, employees of Delgado Community College, faculty and staff of Immaculate Heart of Mary School, Abbott Labs and the U.S. Postal Service are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Epiphany Catholic Church, 1949 Duels on Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time. We were sadden to read in the morning paper the of death Mr.Camel. We unaware of Melba's death. This is such a tragedy. Our hearts are filled with sorrow. We are thinking of the family and send our heartfelt sympathy.

We miss Mildred and recognize the blessings of the beautiful years of friendship shared.

Our affectionated respects to the family.
