Charles Franks Obituary

Charles "Chuckie" Franks Jr. passed away on January 13, 2016 at the age of 51 years. Chuckie passed doing what he loved most. He was on a hunting trip with his brother, Mitchell. Fiance of Michelle Grueter and former husband of Dawn Franks. Father of Karen Franks Comardelle (Timothy Jr.) and Katie Franks (Dennis Adams). Step-father of Casey and John Grueter. Grandfather of Julius Giambelluca and Hunter Agoff. Brother of Bonnie Franks Starkey (Steve), Cheryl Franks Dauzat (Paul), Clinton Franks (Cindy), Mitchell Franks (GayLynn), Janice Franks Grueter (Ralph Creason), David Franks (Angela), the late Carlin "Rink" Franks and Rosemarie Boehm. Son of the late Karen Boehm Franks and Charles Franks Sr. Grandson of the late Clinton Franks, Louise Franks and Katie Kelly Boehm. Son-in-law of Jean and Butch Welker, Angie Walker and brother-in-law of Scott Walker. Also survived by his beloved extended family, Caylyn Albarado, Cory Parks, Courtney Grueter, Amanda Franks Simon, Ashley Franks Dufrene, Melissa Franks Knight, Michael Franks, David Franks Jr., Uncle Tiger, Grace Franks, Evans Starkey, Brad Starley, Clinton Franks, Jessica Franks, Chris, Stacie and Amanda Dufrene, Randy Braniff, Chelsea Latimer and Sophie Gallegos along with many other loving family members and friends. He was a devoted family man and loved spending time with family and friends. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and was Vice-President of the Louisiana Handicapped Sportsman Hunting Club. As a sportsman, he also followed many team sports including football and his beloved Saints. He was always ready to lend a hand whenever he could and will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 9 AM to 2 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow.
