Charles William Hecker Jr.

Charles William Hecker, Jr, age 73 years, of Loranger, LA, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Beloved husband of Marleen Ordonez Hecker. Father of Lori H. Lafont (Claude) and Charles W. Hecker, III. Son of Irma Ward Hecker and the late Charles Wm. Hecker, Sr. Brother of Agnes H. Sachitana (Donald) and the late Gaynel H. Hughes (Raymond). Also survived by 3 grandchildren, Abigail and Ethan Lafont and Kamryn Hecker and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a retired Electrician and was a member of Local 130. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 8 years. A native of New Orleans, where he grew up in Uptown, was a resident of Arabi for over 30 years and a resident of Loranger since Katrina. He enjoyed family time together and good food. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA, on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at 1:00 P.M. Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.
