To: Gina, Nedra, Mark, Monique and Family

What do we say at a time like this? This question is always on our minds when we want to comfort a loved one as they try to cope with a lost. In the very few loses I have experienced, I was told, "As time goes on it will get a little easier". They also say "Only time can heal a broken heart”. Though it feels as if time isn’t moving at all, I hope it helps you to know that you have a large loving family to help you every step of the way. What I have learned from this situation is we need to cherish the time we have with one another. Over the years we have let little tedious things keep us from each other and slowly tear us apart. We must keep our family together and spread love the best way we know how!

I Love You All Very Much,

Nikki

Daddy it's been three weeks and I still can't believe your gone. I hear your voice when I'm sleeping and I look forward to seeing you when I come to New Orleans. I wish we would have been closer, but I know in my heart you loved me. I'm sad that your gone, but I'm glad that before you passed you made it known to me verbally you loved me. I always knew it but for you to tell me verbally you loved me I will remember that forever. For a man that wasn't good with words you chose the best words ever. I promise you I will gain a closeness with Paul, Jaime, Kelly, Jade, Sean, Nicholas and Tori. We all need to know that family is important and life is not promised to anyone. I love you daddy and I will remember all of our years together forever.
