Cheryl Ann Lambert

1965 - 2021

Cheryl Ann Lambert was born on October 2, 1965, to Maxine Lambert and Marcel A. Jenkins Sr. She attended New Orleans Public Schools. After receiving her GED, Cheryl attended Sidney N. Collier Technical College and became a certified Nursing Assistant. Cheryl was baptized by Rev. Ralph Jones at Divine Providence Baptist Church. In 1996, Cheryl, along with her family, joined Pentecost Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Charles B. Winslow Jr. She continued serving under the leadership of Dr. Lionel Davis Sr. In 1997, Cheryl married Eric Kegler. While attending Pentecost BC, Cheryl held many rolls such as Choir Member, Usher, Deaconess, Sunday School Teacher, Licensed Evangelist and many more. Preceded in death by her husband Eric Kegler, maternal and paternal grandparents, sister Nygia Lambert and nephew Zachary Lambert. She leaves to cherish her memories: her children: Crystal, Eric, Perry, Derek Lambert and Audry Farria; stepchildren: Eric, Jermaine, and Melanie Durand; beloved God Child Xyriel Brown, siblings: Raquel (James) Orange, Marcel, Lyndia, Charles and Nevada Lambert. Also survived by a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, August 7, 2021, for 11:00 a.m. at Pentecost Baptist Church, 1510 Harrison Ave., New Orleans, LA.
