Christine Jackson

Christine Barker Jackson passed on from the cares of this world to be with the Lord on December 5, 2016 at the age of 78. Christine was the beloved wife of the late Herbert Jackson Sr. Daughter of the late Easley Barker and Adrean Brumfield Barker of Franklinton, LA. She leaves to cherish her memory six children; Geselle J. Adamson (Richard) of Boston, MA, Herbert Jackson Jr. (Diane), David Jackson, Solomon Jackson, Joseph Jackson and the late Warren Jackson. She was the proud grandmother of Airelle Adamson, Richard Adamson, Kaylyn, Joshua, David Jr. and Teldrick Jackson. She is survived by one sister Willie Lean B. Kemp, one sister-in-law Cora Bell Barker, and one brother-in-law Ernest Lawry. She is preceded in death by her sibling Gradue Lee Barker Dugar, Mantlean Barker, Adrean B. Lawry, Lula Mae Barker, Clashow Barker, Clinton Barker, and Logan Barker Sr. Relatives and friends of the family, pastor, officers and members of Second Mount Elverest Baptist, St.Leo/St. Raymond Catholic Church, and Corpus Christi Catholic Church are invited to attend Funeral Services on December 17, 2016 at Second Mount Elverest Baptist Church, 2528 First St. at 10:00 am.
