MARTIN Clara Christen Martin passed away on Monday, December 29, 2008 at 10:30 AM. Beloved wife of the late Claude Martin. Mother of Connie Bourgeois (Mandry Jr.) and Craig Martin Sr. (Deborah). Sister of Nora Bourgeois and Lillian Bergeron, and the late Shirley Knuppel, Catherine Adam, Lester, Sullivan, and Clyde Christen. Daughter of the late Alfred S. Christen and Mary Touchard Christen. Grandmother of Chad Sr., Dustin, Matthew, and Elizabeth Martin, Craig Pscenicka, Ericka Helmer, Penny Truman, and Mandry Bourgeois, III. Great-grandmother of Ross and Mazzi Bourgeois, Malia, Brandon, and Faith Truman, Chad, Maegan, Lane and Alaina Martin, Hannah and Halle Helmer, and Bella Rose Pscenicka. Great-great grandmother of Maliyah Bourgeois. Age 82 years, a native of Des Allemands, LA and a resident of Crown Point, LA. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA, on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 1 PM. Interment in St. Pius X Mausoleum, Crown Point, LA. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 AM until Service Time. For funeral information, please call 504.366.4343.

I think no greater memories can be shared than growing up the way we did. Playing in each others yards and households. " Mrs. Clara " was always there watching over us and being there for support when we needed it. Connie and Craig this is just to say friends from childhood are friends for life. Even though we are pulled our seperate ways we can still think back to our early years and cherish people like your mom and dad. For they were two special people in the hearts of the Stein boys and girl. With love:
