I worked for CW for a very short time at Instant Cash Advance. I worked for him for approximately 3-4 months when Katrina hit and he had to close the business. CW was larger than life. He had a BIG personality and he always made me laugh. He was one of a kind and I loved working for him. I know this is late but I was searching for something and came across his name. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and I pray for allnif his family.

Some of my fav childhood memories are of my dad (Brennan Roy) and CW together and I will always cherish those memories. He was truly one of a kind and his personality and smile were infectious. I have not seen you in years but I always loved when dad brought me to the sales office, it seems like yesterday. My prayers are with your family. I only found out today that you are gone I am so sorry for the loss of someone so full of life.

It's been two weeks since, I said good bye and celebrated my uncle's life. There hasn't been a day since, that I haven't thought of him in some way. From his boisterous laugh and big smile, to his colorful story telling, or his keen business sense advice. I seem to encounter something every day that sparks some memory of him. Most of them make me smile or laugh, but some sadden me. like when I need advice on a business situation,and I am not able to talk to him to get that "C.W. School Of Business" advise, that only he could come up with. But as long as I think of him,and remembers what he taught me, a little piece of his spirit lives within me, which makes me a better man.
Thank you, Uncle Bubby for being part of my life.

Our hearts are heavy by the passing of our brother in law CW. Our prayers are with him in spirit. CW has touched our lives and has left fond memories that we will cherish. CW truly lived his life by the meaning of “Laissez les bons temps rouler”. We pray for God to comfort Lori and Family.

I too knew Bubby way back in time at Madisonville. Such a small town, so few in our age group. The memories all come flooding back. He was a cut-up character then and I'm glad to hear that his spirit remained ever so. I remember that he would often help out his Dad at their gas station on Main Street. He left school for the Navy at such a young age.
It's nice to know that he touched so many people's lives in such a positive way. My condolences to all his family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My father and I met CW when he was renovating houses. CW was always laughing and smiling. CW had bought a house in New Orleans to renovate and the past owner had some form of rituals with chickens in the back shed. He gave us a good laugh that day when he told us how fast his workers ran out yard and would not step foot onto the property until the property was completely cleared of the ritual debris. Rest in peace CW.

Vickie and I want to tell how sad we were to hear that CW had passed away. We love Laurie and CW with all our hearts and will miss him so much.
